- Licensed Commercial Pilot – Rated in Floats and twins
- 1971 At age 25 visited the Maserati and Ferrari Factory for the first time.
- 1976 Founded MIE corporation and the Maserati Club International
- 1986 Founded the Concorso Italiano at the Quail Lodge during the Monterey weekend
- 1994 Bought out Maserati Automobiles Inc Baltimore, the USA Distributor owned by DeTomaso for 1 million dollars all cash.
- 1998 Founded the Car Guy Tour taking 30 Americans to Italy visiting the factories and design houses as well as great collections and restoration shops and museums.
